BEST FOOD FOR EXOTIC BULLIES
Best Food for Exotic Bullies
Congratulations on your new furry friend! Now that you have taken the step in getting your very own, exotic bully puppy, your next question is probably, “What is the best food for exotic bullies?”
There are plenty of brands catered to bully dogs that are sold in commercial stores and in feed stores. The ones we use to feed our dogs include Taste of the Wild and Blue Buffalo.
If you have a different brand that you have been using for your other bullies and would like to switch, that is definitely your choice. Keep in mind, puppies and dogs in general, require time transitioning to their new owner’s preferred food.
Our recommendation is to mix the current dog food we provided and integrate it with your preferred brand. The puppy might get diarrhea if you abruptly change the food, so weaning the puppy for a few days should help alleviate the symptoms of diarrhea and dehydration for your new exotic bully.
Always check the ingredients in the dog food. Different brands have different variations of Fats, Carbohydrates and Proteins. One brand might have a higher protein percentage versus another brand that offers a higher carb percentage. We try to avoid a high percentage of corn fillers as this builds more production of gas in the Gastrointestinal system.
Ultimately, it is up to you to determine what your new puppy enjoys as well as what is best for your four-legged friend. Hope this article helps and let us know if you have any questions!
